¡Bienvenidos al Podcast Lo Mejor del Oriente Antioqueño!

In this Episode, we dive deep into an engaging conversation with two exceptional individuals who have wholeheartedly embraced this breathtaking region as their own. Allow us to introduce you to Catalina Obando, a Colombian native who called Orlando home for twenty years before embarking on a life-changing journey to Rionegro with her beloved family. Joining her is Omega, an American artist who, captivated by the allure of Eastern Antioquia, recently made a profound investment in this captivating destination. Together, they share their insights on the multitude of reasons that make Eastern Antioquia an irresistible place to call home.

One of the first aspects that captured Catalina and Omega's attention was the region's delightful weather. Eastern Antioquia boasts a moderate climate, characterized by pleasant temperatures and an abundance of sunshine. Catalina mentions, "Moving from Orlando to Rionegro was a transformative experience for me and my family. The weather here is absolutely delightful, offering a refreshing change from the hot summers and unpredictable weather we experienced in Florida."

A City at Arm's Reach Situated just an hour away from the vibrant city of Medellin, Eastern Antioquia offers the perfect balance between serene countryside living and urban amenities. Omega highlights, "Having Medellin in such close proximity allows us to enjoy the best of both worlds. We can easily access world-class healthcare facilities, educational institutions, cultural events, and exciting nightlife whenever we desire, while still relishing the tranquility of Eastern Antioquia."

Gateway to the World The presence of an international airport in Rionegro adds another layer of convenience for residents. Omega explains, "For someone like me who travels frequently, having an international airport nearby is a game-changer. It makes it effortless to connect with my family back in the States and explore other parts of the world. Eastern Antioquia truly offers a gateway to the world."

Eastern Antioquia is renowned for its diverse and flavorful cuisine, drawing influences from both Colombian traditions and international culinary trends. Catalina shares her enthusiasm, "Exploring the local gastronomy has been a delightful journey. From traditional Colombian dishes to fusion cuisines, there's always something to tantalize your taste buds. Eastern Antioquia truly embraces the joy of good food and celebration."

Warmth of the Local People: Both Catalina and Omega have been deeply touched by the warmth and hospitality of the local community in Eastern Antioquia. They emphasize the genuine connections they've forged and the sense of belonging they now experience. Omega reflects, "The people here have embraced me as one of their own. The tight-knit community and their willingness to extend a helping hand have made me feel truly at home."

Quality of Air and Pristine Environment: Eastern Antioquia's natural beauty and clean air quality contribute to a healthy and invigorating lifestyle. With breathtaking landscapes and abundant greenery, the region offers residents an opportunity to reconnect with nature and lead a more sustainable existence. Catalina remarks, "The fresh air and picturesque surroundings have had a positive impact on our well-being, it's something we cherish every day."

Impressive Infrastructure: Eastern Antioquia boasts a well-developed infrastructure that caters to the needs of its residents. From modern housing complexes to reliable transportation networks, the region offers a seamless living experience. Omega expresses his satisfaction, "The region's infrastructure is truly impressive, the roads are well-maintained"
